Over 50 artists, composers, songwriters. and singers from over 20 countries participated and contributed to the development of the story, characters and songs.
The workshops were hosted by professional artists, enabling the participants to originate their own ideas and concepts for characters, dialogue and setting.
2020 -Online workshops during Covid
2021 was a busy summer with workshops in-person workshops replacing the virtual meetings that were a feature of the Covid pandemic.
Multiple Workshops were held in Jerusalem & Palestine, and in Ireland the Irish Institute of Music and Song (IIMS) hosted a month of in-house workshop with over 20 young & emerging talents working alongside the What About Us professional team who were supported by top West End professionals.
2021 – Workshops in Israel
The physical workshops have connected the Nationalist and Unionist communities in Ireland and collaborating Artists in Israel and Palestine.
The workshops are also providing mentorship to interested, keen and emerging Artists that perhaps cannot afford professional guidance.

The workshops will continue as a focus for the team, connecting communities in conflict while continue to develop all aspects of the on-stage creativity.
2024 will see further development of the stage show, the story, and the artistic vision for the stage. Workshops are being planned in multiple countries and locations.
